The main house, Rosemerryn is a former artist’s residence, built at the turn of the twentieth century. A large 6 bedroom house, sleeping 12-14, Rosemerryn is available to rent for self-catering holidays, family get togethers and celebrations, retreats and courses. Rosemerryn Cottage, separate from the main house, but within the grounds, and with its own private garden, is available as a self-catering holiday cottage.

Both the house and cottage are set in seven acres of magical woodland, which they share with a two thousand year old man made cave or temple, the Boleigh Fogou, which is just one of numerous such Ancient Celtic Sites to be found in the far west of Cornwall. The fogou was once part of an iron-age settlement perched on a knoll above the Lamorna River.

Having once been cultivated, part of the wood is graced with beautiful camellias and azaleas, and huge rhododendrons, while the rest is more densely wooded with native trees, ferns and wildflowers.  Natural pathways, bordered by daffodils, bluebells and irises follow the stream that tumbles down through the valley to reach the sea at Lamorna Cove.

Off the beaten track, and yet close to both Penzance and St Ives, as well as some of the most beautiful sandy beaches and coves, Rosemerryn and Rosemerryn Cottage offer the perfect holiday setting.
